REALISATION

19TH FEBRUARY 2009

The installation took about one day working with four persons.

With the help of two skilled painters we did the roof in a day. Two people were doing the masking tape while the others were painting. The job was tough being sandwiched between the heat from Africa’s sun and the heat of the reflecting roof. Jo’burg’s exhausts from the freeway right besides the building gave us the rest. The corrugated sheet roof determined the layout.
Since the roof of the building was red we used black paint for the types. “Black on red” instead of the usual “red on black”.
