"Fuhrwerkswaage" is a non-profit art-space, established in 1978. There young and unknown positions as well as highly reputed artists are shown. The concept focuses on installation art. Thus most of its projects are site-specific.
Jochen Heufelder is the artistic director of the non- profit art-space "Fuhrwerkswaage" which was established in 1978 as a private foundation. The art space shows young and unknown positions as well as well-known artists. The concept focuses on installation art. Thus most of the projects are site- specific. Furthermore "Fuhrwerkswaage" has realized several projects in the public and the privatesphere. Among others: Bikini (1982), Bildhauer zeichnen auf Plakatwände (1983),Maler malen auf Litfaßsäulen (1984), Skulptur am Fort (1985), Paare solo (1986), Privatgrün (1994), Privatgrün (2004) as well as Vorgebirgsparkskulptur in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003.
